Markets witnessed a choppy trading session on the back of mixed global cues and lack of fresh triggers, but still managed to close in the green. The benchmark index Nifty 50 ended the day @ 11247, up 25 points for the day. Advances and declines were evenly poised with the Top 3 Nifty gainers being Grasim, Tech Mahindra & Titan whereas the Top 3 Nifty losers were BPCL, Bharti Airtel and Tata Steel. Overall, markets are trading sideways with Nifty seen in the immediate range of 11100-11550.

Sensex and Nifty traded range bound throughout the day again, Indices open negative on back of negative global market clues, Sensex closing up by 94 points (0.25%) and Nifty up by 31 points (0.28%) respectively. Today S&P BSE CONSUMER DURABLES (up 1.72%),S&P BSE CAPITAL GOODS (up 0.99%) while S&P BSE Telecom (down 2.86%), S&P BSE OIL & GAS (down 1.90%) . Top gainers of the Sensex were HDFCBANK (1.40%), HINDUNILVR (1.68%). Top losers of the Sensex were RELIANCE (0.49%), BHARTIARTL (3.34%) . Global cues were negative as Nasdaq Futures down by 0.29% and Dow Futures was down by 0.48%.
