Vaibhav Global Successfully Commissions 1MW Solar PV Power Generation Project

Vaibhav Global Limited (VGL), an electronic retailer of fashion jewellery, accessories and lifestyle products in developed markets, has successfully commissioned a 1MW Solar PV Power Generation Project under Captive use in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The plant, which was commissioned on 28th August 2020, is a major addition to the existing 385 KW rooftop solar panels installed in Jaipur, which have been servicing 7% of the Company's electricity requirements at its Jaipur manufacturing facility. Together, the existing facility and the new plant will address around 45% of the Company's power requirements for the Jaipur facility.

Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Vineet Ganeriwala, Group CFO of Vaibhav Global Limited said - "Sustainability is integral to business aspirations of the Company. Shares of Vaibhav Global Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.1740 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1727.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2803 in over 588 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1798 and intraday low of 1715.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4975177.
