Fire at Nandan Denim's factory

A fire broke out at the spinning unit of Nandan Denim Ltd's factory located at Piplej, Ahmedabad today morning around 4:30 a.m. The fire was brought under control within five hours of the incident. None of the workmen or other persons was injured or other casualty due to the fire accident. The production in the spinning unit has been disrupted due to the incident. The loss due to fire is not yet estimated. The activities at the spinning unit have not been resumed yet. We have already intimated the concerned departments and other statutory authorities about the fire accident.

Shares of Nandan Denim Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs.19.9 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 19.65. The total number of shares traded during the day was 807 in over 24 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 20.35 and intraday low of 19.9. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 16198.
