Emami group completes stake sale in Emami Cement

The Promoters / Promoters Group of Emami Ltd have announced the completion of their transaction with Nuvoco Corporation Limited ("NVCL") for the divestment of their 100% equity stake in Emami Cement Limited ("Emami Cement") for an enterpirse value of Rs. 5500 crores.

The deal was completed with the transfer of 100% of Emami Cement shares to NVCL by Emami group today, July 14, 2020.

Shares of EMAMI LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.246.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 244.9. The total number of shares traded during the day was 243026 in over 1781 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 250 and intraday low of 238.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 59966092.
