Wonderla Holidays Ltd launches 'Wonder Kitchen' - forays into food takeaway and home delivery division as part of business expansion

India's leading amusement park and hospitality Brand, Wonderla Holidays Limited launched their first-ever takeaway and home delivery venture with their first "Wonder Kitchen" outlet at Kengeri, near to satellite town Bangalore, 16 km away from Wonderla Amusement Park. Wonder Kitchen is a multi-cuisine outlet serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The Start-up has associated with Swiggy and Zomato for online orders and home delivery. The outlet will operate from 11am to 9pm and will do the delivery within the 5 km radius.

Mr. Arun Chittilappilly, Whole-time Director of Wonderla Holidays said, "The Covid-19 crisis has changed the world completely in the last few months. All of us have been locked down in our homes, economic activity has come to a near standstill. Everyone has been impacted. Our Parks and Resort chains have been affected across the locations due to thus turmoil. In these difficult times, we decided to step into the new business venture with the support of our experienced staff. Today, everyone are health-conscious and there is an ever-growing demand for safe and hygiene food, without having to give up on the taste and excitement of food. We are serving fresh, exciting new tastes as per the safety protocols" he added.

Shares of Wonderla Holidays Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.128.9 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 130.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5022 in over 364 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 135 and intraday low of 127.9. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 658073.
