Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd announces resignation of independent director

Mr. Sanjeeb Chaudhuri [DIN: 03594427] has tendered his resignation as an Independent Director of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd w.e.f. the closing hours of Friday, June 5, 2020, due to personal reasons.

The Company has received a confirmation from Mr. Sanjeeb Chaudhuri that there are no other material reasons for his resignation other that those which is provided in the resignation letter dated June 5, 2020.

The Board of Directors has placed on record its deep appreciation towards Mr. Chaudhuri's contribution towards the Company. His rich experience, wise counsel and technical expertise have played a significant role in enriching the Board of the Company.

Shares of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.138.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 125. The total number of shares traded during the day was 276589 in over 5318 trades.
