D-LINK (INDIA) LIMITED updates on customs duty demand

D-LINK (INDIA) LIMITED had earlier announced about the receipt of show cause notice from Customs Department (Directorate of Revenue Intelligence) demanding differential duty for certain products imported during the earlier years.

The Company had filed appeal with the Additional Director General, Adjudication, DRI, Mumbai (ADG, DRI) contesting the aforesaid duty demand.

The Company has received the adjudication orders from ADG, DRI dated 26th May 2020 in both the matters, partially setting aside the demand of duty pertaining to imports of goods and confirming determining the duty liability to Rs. 5,453,755/- excluding the interest. Further, the adjudication orders are being reviewed by the Company.

Shares of D-Link (India) Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.79.3 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 79. The total number of shares traded during the day was 14659 in over 417 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 82.4 and intraday low of 77.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1175963.
