Rs 624 crore earmarked for Commonwealth Games

The Finance Minister, Shri P Chidambaram has provided Rs 624 crore for the Commonwealth Games. While presenting the Budget proposals for the year 2008-09 in the Lok Sabha today, he said that the Games are only 947 days away and urged the authorities concerned to adhere to the strict time lines and quality standards.
