Chambal Fertilisers Q3 Net Profit slips

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd has announced the Unaudited Results for the quarter ended December 31, 2007.

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 633.50 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 701.30 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 7987.60 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 to Rs 8228.50 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.1.52 for the Quarter ending December 31, 2007 compared to Rs.1.68 for Quarter ending December 31, 2006.

The stock was trading at Rs.77, down by Rs.4 or 4.94%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.81.55 and low of Rs.75.

The total traded quantity was 892073 compared to 2 week average of 1306505.
