Abbott India Buy-back Committee of Directors approves "Buy back" at Rs.650

Abbott India Ltd has announced that subsequent to shareholders approval, Buy-back Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 04, 2006, has approved Buy - back of 8,07,360 fully paid-up equity shares of the Company via the tender offer method at a price of Rs 650 per Share by utilising aggregate amount of Rs 52,47,84,000.
