Lilliput awarded as the 'Reid & Taylor Retailer of the Year' 2007 in the Kidswear category.

Presented by Reid & Taylor Awards for Retail Excellence at the Asia Retail Congress 2008

Mumbai, January 11, 2008: Lilliput, the dominant player in the Kidswear industry walked away with the prestigious 'Reid & Taylor Retail Excellence Award' in the Kidswear category at the 'Reid & Taylor Awards for Retail Excellence' organised by the Asia Retail Congress 2008. The felicitation ceremony saw who's who of the Indian Retail Industry rubbing shoulders at the glittering night at the Ball Room of Taj Lands End, Mumbai.

The Reid & Taylor Retailer is an ultimate award presented to an exclusive brand or multi-brand retailer of Fashion, Food, Beauty, Leisure, Entertainment and others with a single or more outlets showing outstanding performance with expansion within the boundaries of its operation in the previous year. The eminent jury conducted a detailed national survey which spread across the spectrum in the retail industry and awarded Lilliput as the winner of the ' Reid & Taylor Retailer of the Year' Award. The Award was presented by Mr. Surjit Singh, COO, Major Brands.

The other nominees in the 'Retailer of the Year' (Kidswear) category were Giny & Jony, Zapp & Barbie. There were a total of 10 categories in the Reid & Taylor Awards like Retail Professional of the Year, Young Retail Professional of the Year, Excellence in Real Estate and others. The Indian retail industry waits with bated breath for these awards. Lilliput was recently also bestowed with CMAI brand of the year in kidswear category and this one is another feather in the cap of Lilliput to have achieved this adulation.
