United Bank of India appoints CFO

The Board of Directors of United Bank of India on October 4, 2018 has approved appointment of Shri Rakesh Chandra Narayan as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Bank w.e.f. October 4,2018.

Shri Narayan holds a Master's Degree in Arts (English) from Patna University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Sikkim Manipal University. He holds a Diploma in Treasury, Risk & Investment Management from Indian Institute of Banking & Finance. He is also an associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. He joined the Bank in December, 1985 as Probationary Officer and had worked across ranks and files in branches and administrative offices. Before being given the charge of Corporate Accounts Department and designated as the CFO, he was General Manger incharge of Treasury, International Banking Division, Investment & Fund Management.

Shares of UNITED BANK OF INDIA was last trading in BSE at Rs.10.31 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 10.33. The total number of shares traded during the day was 542520 in over 216 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 10.65 and intraday low of 10.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5601896.
