SBI Mutual Fund increases stake in Galaxy Surfactants Ltd to 5.2515%

SBI Funds Management Pvt Ltd, trustee of SBI Mutual Fund (SBI MF) schemes has announced that it has acquired shares of Galaxy Surfactants Ltd (company) under its various schemes resulting in stake crossing 5% of the paid up share capital of the company.



SBI Mutual Fund under its various schemes acquired 93293 equity shares or 0.2631% through open market purchase on March 8, 2018. Before this deal, SBI Mutual Funds had 1,768,602 equity shares or 4.9883% stake in the company.

Post the deal, the holding of SBI Mutual Fund, under its various schemes, as at close of business hours on March 8, 2018 was 18,61,895 equity shares which is 5.2515% of the paid-up share capital of the company.

Shares of Galaxy Surfactants Ltd. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1496.70 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1497.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 54135 shares and the deliverable quantity was 51480 shares.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1550 and intraday low of 1479. The total turnover during the day was Rs. 8.09 crore.
