Kitex Garments Ltd's MD Mr. Sabu M Jacob acquires shares from open market

Mr. Sabu M. Jacob, Chairman and Managing Director of Kitex Garments Ltd has acquired 168832 equity shares or 0.26% stake of the company through open market purchase which was intimated to the stock exchange on February 27, 2018.



Prior to the deal, Sabu had 2,14,46,993 equity shares or 32.25% stake in the company, which increased to 2,16,15,825 equity shares or 32.51% post the acquisition.

The stock has been on a downward spiral after a poor set of Q3 numbers.

Shares of KITEX GARMENTS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.260 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 246.1. The total number of shares traded during the day was 89441 in over 1627 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 264.9 and intraday low of 245.6. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 22997415.
