Escorts clarifies on land sale news

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Land sale talk puts Escorts on the fast track", Escorts Ltd has clarified that no official communication was given by the Company to anybody on the above matter. Further, the Company denied any such news.

The stock closed the day at Rs.119.95, up by Rs.8.45 or 7.58%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.121.80 and low of Rs.112.

The total traded quantity was 2040103 compared to 2 week average of 913118.
