Jet Airways wins top honors at World Airline Entertainment Association (WAEA) Avion Awards Second Year consecutively

Jet Airways was awarded the prestigious Avion Award for "Best Overall In-flight Entertainment (IFE) for Small Airlines" for the second consecutive year, at the 19th Annual Avion Awards 2007. The ceremony took place during the 28th Annual Conference and Exhibition of the World Airline Entertainment Association on September 17, 2007 in Toronto, Canada.

Jet Airways was judged on the basis of its commitment to excellence in creating one of the most comprehensive in-flight entertainment systems in the world with some of the most special and unique programming features.

Skytrax, the leader in airline passenger opinion studies, about their In-flight entertainment experiences, assessed the winners from a two-month long survey of more than 36,000 airline passengers worldwide.

Ms. Ranjani Krishnamurthy, Manager - IFE, received the award on behalf of Jet Airways.

World Airline Entertainment Association (WAEA) was founded in 1979 as a nonprofit organization and is the official worldwide network representing nearly 100 airlines and over 250 airline suppliers, committed to excellence in in-flight entertainment and communications and the continual improvement of the airline passenger environment."

The stock closed the day at Rs.908.55, down by Rs.15.05 or 1.63%. The total traded quantity was 17328 compared to 2 week average of 62011.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.925 and low of Rs.899.
