Omkar Speciality Chemicals Ltd commissions expanded capacity at Badlapur unit

Omkar Speciality Chemicals Ltd has has announced the successful commissioning of expanded capacity at Unit 1 in Badlapur, Maharashtra. The capacity was expanded from 600 MTPA to 900 MTPA in volumetric terms.

This facility has started commercial production after completing the requisite and necessary trial runs. The company will be manufacturing advanced intermediates having varied applications in pharmaceuticals.

Shares of OMKAR SPECIALITY CHEMICALS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.168.3 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 163.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 154140 in over 2444 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 170.5 and intraday low of 165.1. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 25861935.
