Paramount Communications clarifies on acquisition news

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Paramount to acquire AEI Cable", Paramount Communications Ltd has clarified that the Board of the Company, is meeting on August 31, 2007, to consider the proposed acquisition in detail. The Company will update & Keep the stock exchanges informed in this regard after the said acquisition is finalized.
