This weekend, people of Rajahmahendravaram experienced an adrenaline rush with the Thums Up Thunder Challenge - an ultimate test of strength and stamina. More than 3000 adventure lovers descended upon the Arts College Ground to participate in a one-of-its-kind mobile obstacle endurance challenge which featured a set of 6 grueling obstacles on 40ft. trucks. Challengers from different age groups were tested to their limits by Thums Up, India's most iconic soft drink brand, in the endurance challenge as they tried completing the difficult tasks set for them.
The six obstacles included climbing 7 feet high walls, climbing 12 feet high ropes, barbed wire crawls, tyre walls, cargo net climb and traversing monkey bars. The difficulties involved in completing these obstacles made it all the more challenging and satisfying for participants to earn the Thums Up Thunder Challenge Finisher medal.
Speaking on the occasion, Coca-Cola India Spokesperson said, "Thums Up has always been associated with action, attitude and adventure - a positioning that has made it India's favorite cola brand. Through the Thunder Challenge, we want to inspire our consumers to go beyond the ordinary and face challenges head-on without compromising on their beliefs and attitude. Today, I am delighted to see how participants from Rajahmahendravaram pushed their limits to unleash their Toofani spirit and true potential".
To enable a wider audience experience of Thums Up's core elements of uncompromising attitude and strength, the event also had engagement games for those who wanted a warm up session before taking on the obstacle course. The games included tyre flip, log carry and Cliffhanger challenge which tested the endurance and attitude of the participants.
With more in store this summer for adventure seekers from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Thums Up will take this mobile obstacle challenge to Vishakhapatnam on 17th April, Vijayawada on 24th April and Tirupati on 1st May followed by a grand finale in Hyderabad on May 8th. 5 lucky winners from each town, will get a chance to participate in the grand finale at Hyderabad which will feature a total of 20 of the toughest obstacles spread over a track of 5 km.
