AIIMS Ex-Director Ramesh Deka Addresses the Graduating Class at Trio

Trio World Academy graduated its Class of 2016 on the 2nd of April, 2016, in a grand ceremony at the school premises. The event was chaired by the Ex-Director of AIIMS, Dr. Ramesh Deka, who carried out the ceremonial proceedings of the graduation day.

Dr. Deka is a renowned ENT specialist and the Vice Chancellor of The Assam D.T. University. His unquenchable thirst for knowledge has led him to receive surgical training in various specializations, at dignified medical institutions around the world, including John Hopkins Hospital and Yale University Medical Center. A pioneer in the arena of Cochlear Implant Facility, he is responsible for development of the Cochlear Implant Facility at the ENT department at AIIMS and has laid a strong impetus for research in the field. A teacher and an educator, he is keen on the need for research and quality in education.

Delivering the graduation speech he said, "It is very important for students to ingrain the responsibility of giving back to the society. It is how they can contribute to the development of the nation." In addition he also spoke about the need to raise awareness about the rising trend of substance abuse in young adults and touched upon the need to preserve resources for future generations.

A graduating student of the Class of 2016 stated, "Trio has been wonderful in providing us with opportunities and exposure. It has opened up a whole new set of options for all of us and I feel privileged to be part of the school."

Mr. Naveen K.M, Managing Director - Trio World Academy said, "It is a pleasure to see our students all set to walk into their next phase of life. Mr. Deka has provided insights that the students can cherish and apply in their lives at any phase in their futures. I'm positive that they will prosper in their respective fields and make our institution proud."
