Jindal Mectec Sets up NEW Manufacturing Plant with an investment of Rs. 70 crores in Indore!

Jindal Mectec Pvt. Ltd. sets-up its New Plant at Pithampur, Indore. Revenue & Rehabitation, Cabinet Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Rampal Singh Rajput inaugurated the facility. With the commissioning of this plant, Jindal Mectec will have the largest production capacity of PUF Panels in India.

The new plant set up with a capital outlay of Rs. 70 crs is built on a 10 acre plot covering a total area of 9000 sq. mts.

The plant uses the latest European technology, same as in its existing plant at HP, to manufacture insulated PUF panels for the refrigerated & industrial buildings segment, using an ozone friendly process.

Mr. Pawan Jindal, Chairman, Jindal Mectec Pvt. Ltd. said, "While the existing plant at HP primarily meets the requirements of its customers in Northern India, the new facility in Pithampur, MP, will better address the growing needs of its industrial customers in Central & Western India. We are extremely pleased and proud to be able to offer the global quality PUF panels pan India."

When fully operational, the plant will employ approximately 150 people and will have a production capacity of 1,800,000 square meters of PUF panels per year.

The Company also manufactures refrigerated trucks, refrigerated doors & clean rooms and is planning to enter niche operation theatre solutions.

Jindal Mectec Pvt. Ltd. is an ISO-9000 accredited organization equipped with state-of-the-art machinery & equipment from global majors such as Cannon & Manini of Italy, Kraus-Maffei and Elastogran of Germany and Rim Polymers of Korea.

Jindal Mectec forayed into the field of PU Foam in1983 when it became the first company in India to manufacture PU (polyurethane) car seats for Maruti Suzuki. And today, it has become the largest producer of PUF/PIR/ Rockwool panels in the country.
