Excise Duty on tobacco products to be raised by about 10 to 15%

Excise Duty on various tobacco products other than bidi was also proposed to be raised by about 10 to 15%.

Proposing amendment to Finance Act 1994 he said that assignment of right to use the spectrum and its subsequent transfers will be a service leviable to Service Tax and not sale of intangible tax.
