Carborundum Universal Limited Updates on Merger of Cellaris Refractories India Limited

Carborundum Universal Ltd had earlier announced with reference to the effective date of the scheme of Amalgamation between Cellaris Refractories India Limited (CRIL) with Carborundum Universal Limited (CUMI). The intimation letter was inadvertently dated as September 28, 2015 instead of September 29, 2015.

It is hereby confirmed that the certified true copy of the order has been filed with the Registrar of Companies, Tamil Nadu, on September 29, 2015 which is the effective date of the scheme.

Shares of CARBORUNDUM UNIVERSAL LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.159.5 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 161.4. The total number of shares traded during the day was 5061 in over 152 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 164.9 and intraday low of 159. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 813853.
