Serco Global Services CIO awarded with Versatile CIO of the Year award at the CIO100 Symposium & Awards

Serco's Global Services business, Chief Information Officer, Mr Rajendra Deshpande, has been honoured as 'The Versatile CIO of the Year' at the CIO100 India Symposium & Awards, held to celebrate the tenth edition of the symposium, in Pune recently. The annual award recognizes organizations that demonstrate the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology. It is for the fifth time that Mr Deshpande has been given this award, thus making him an inductee in the CIO Hall of Fame. The award was handed over to Mr Deshpande in the presence of the global CIO team.

Serco was presented with the CIO 100 Award in recognition of its flexibility in adapting to the ever changing digital landscape. The award recognises successful companies and CIOs, who are visionaries and rise to the challenges of a versatile business environment.

Commenting on the achievement, Mr Rajendra Deshpande, CIO, Serco Global Services "I feel honoured to be receiving this award once again and becoming an inductee in the CIO Hall of Fame. The CIO Hall of Fame is a special honour bestowed upon individuals whose work has shown both creative vision and practical leadership in information technology.
