Apollo Tyres Ltd Quarterly net almost trebles to Rs.46.76 Crores

Apollo Tyres Ltd has announced the UnAudited Financial Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a profit after taxes of Rs.467.64 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs.162.6 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income is Rs.8799.15 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs.7573.7 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The company reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.10.08 for Quarter ended June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.4.24 reported during Quarter ended June 30, 2006.

Pursuant to the resolution passed by the shareholders at the AGM held on July 26, 2007, the Equity Shares of Rs 10 each of the Company will be sub divided into 10 equity shares of Re 1 per share w.e.f. record date i.e. August 27, 2007.

As reported in earlier quarters, the sale of Company´s Tube Plant at Ranjangaon was completed during the quarter.
