Revathi Equipment Ltd Quarterly net profit at Rs.3.15 Crore, down 8.7% YoY

Revathi Equipment Ltd has announced the UnAudited Financial Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a profit after taxes of Rs.31.5 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs.34.5 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income is Rs.226.6 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs.223.1 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The company reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.10.25 for Quarter ended June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.10.75 reported during Quarter ended June 30, 2006.

During the current quarter the company bought back an extinguished 77233 shares for a total value of Rs 51.10 million from the members and completed the buyback scheme which had commenced from January 22, 2007.

Other Income includes gain of Rs 39 million from the sale of 2.4 MW wind power project at Rajasthan for Rs 115.60 million and capital gain tax thereon included in provision for current tax for the quarter is Rs 36.40 million.
