3i Infotech Ltd Quarterly profit after tax at Rs.21.42 Crores, up 75.33%

3i Infotech Ltd has announced the UnAudited Financial Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a profit after taxes of Rs.214.24 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs.122.19 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income is Rs.1225.32 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs.823.02 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The company reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.3.36 for Quarter ended June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.1.96 reported during Quarter ended June 30, 2006.

During the quarter ended June 30, 2007, the Company lauched an offering of US$100 million Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs).

The Board of Directors at its meeting held on April 25, 2007 recommended a 1:1 bonus issue for all shareholders i.e. one additional equity share for every one existing equity share held by the Members by capitalizing a part of the reserves. The bonus issue is subject to approval of the Members. The record date for the bonus issue has been fixed as August 28, 2007.

During the quarter ended June 30, 2007, the Company has acquired 50.5% stake in aok in-house BPO Services Ltd and aok in-house Factoring Services Pvt Ltd and 60% in KNM Services Pvt Ltd.
