Container Corporation Q1 net up at Rs.187.09 Crores

Container Corporation of India Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 1870.90 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 1663.30 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income has increased from Rs 7375.80 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 8110.00 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.28.79 for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.25.59 during quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The stock closed the day at Rs.2240, down by Rs.16.20 or 0.72%. The total traded quantity was 684 compared to 2 week average of 2440. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.2245 and low of Rs.2220.
