BRPL Q1 profit at Rs.65.8 Crores

Bongaigaon Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd (BRPL) has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 658.00 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 817.40 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has decreased from Rs 14733.30 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 13708.70 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.3.29 for the Quarter ending June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.4.09 for Quarter ending June 30, 2006.

The stock closed the day at Rs.52.65, down by Rs.1 or 1.86%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.54.30 and low of Rs.52. The total traded quantity was 290571 compared to 2 week average of 286969.
