United Bank of India appoints Executive Director

The Ministry of Finance vide its Notification dated August 24, 2015 has appointed Shri K. Venkata Rama Moorthy, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda, as Executive Director of United Bank of India w.e.f. the date of his assumption of the charge of the post and up to January 31, 2019 i.e. the date of his attaining the age of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier in terms of section 9(3)(a) of the Banking Companies (Acquisition & Transfer of Undertakings) Act 1970 read with clauses 3(1) and 8(1) of The Nationalized Banks (Management & Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme 1970.

Shares of UNITED BANK OF INDIA was last trading in BSE at Rs.21.5 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 21.45. The total number of shares traded during the day was 248791 in over 987 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 22.15 and intraday low of 20.4. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5231353.
