Chambal Fertilisers Q1 net profit up 92.96% to Rs.61.71 Crores

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 617.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to Rs 319.80 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 5323.70 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 6395.20 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The company has reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.1.48 for the Quarter ending June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.0.89 for Quarter ending June 30, 2006.

The stock was trading at Rs.35.75, up by Rs.0.05 or 0.14%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.36.10 and low of Rs.35. The total traded quantity was 127258 compared to 2 week average of 314815.
