Torrent Cables Ltd Q1 net up 148.5% at Rs.7.31 Crores

Torrent Cables Ltd has announced the Audited Financial Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.

The Company has posted profit after taxes of Rs.73.1 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs.29.41 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. Total Income is Rs.568.97 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 where as the same was at Rs.426.06 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The company reported Earnings Per Share (EPS) of Rs.9.77 for quarter ending June 30, 2007 compared to Rs.3.93 during same quarter last year.

The stock closed the day at Rs.225.65, up by Rs.6.85 or 3.13%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.240.65 and low of Rs.220.15. The total traded quantity was 207827 compared to 2 week average of 21879.
