Genus Overseas Electronics Ltd Q1 net up 87.86% to Rs.6.92 Crores

The company has reported total income of Rs.839.74 Million in Q1 2007-2008 compared to Rs.512.09 Million during the same quarter last year (2006-2007). The company reported Net Profit of Rs.69.23 Million during Q1 2007-2008 compared to Rs.36.85 Million during Q1 2006-2007.

The Earnings Per Share (EPS) of the company stood at Rs.6.38 during Q1 2007-2008 compared to Rs.3.4 during Q1 206-2007.

The Board reviewed the total order book position of worth Rs 3640 million (including export orders of worth Rs 130 million), as on date.

The stock closed the day at Rs.378.95, up by Rs.4.15 or 1.11%. The total traded quantity was 141902 compared to 2 week average of 91221. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.386 and low of Rs.371.
