Eicher Motors clarifies on news regarding stake sale

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Hyundai eyes stake in Eicher Arm", Eicher Motors Ltd has clarified that the news item is factually incorrect.

There are no discussions going on with Hyundi Motors and the Company is also not aware of any visit of their delegation to India.

The Company also note that, in a statement issued to the Dow Jones Newswire, Hyundai Motors spokesperson Jake Jang said "There aren't any ongoing talks between Hyundai and Eicher Motors for that matter."

The Company will be shortly issuing a press note on this matter to disseminate Information through the media to its investors and the general public to clarify that the news report is baseless and factually incorrect.
