On Global front The U.S. Federal Reserve kept interest rate unchanged at 0.00-0.25 percent and added it would likely close its monthly bond-buying program in October.

The U.S. Initial Jobless Claims in the week ending September 13, 2014 fell by 36,000 to 280,000, the lowest level in two months.

The U.S. Housing Starts fell 14.4 percent in August from a month earlier to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 956,000 units.
