Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd clarifies on tie-up with Peugeot

The Stock Exchange had sought clarification with respect to the media report "Mahindra may tie up with France's Peugeot".

The company has said that, the captioned report is speculative and the Company is not in a position to confirm or deny the veracity of the report given its policy of not commenting on speculative reports concerning acquisitions.

As in the past, the Company would continue to inform stock exchanges about any price sensitive information before the same is made public.

Shares of MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.1246.75 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1236.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 41940 in over 3124 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1258 and intraday low of 1225.65. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 52158128.
