The IPO euphoria is begining to recede as the newly listed stocks of companies that went for IPO recently are trading below the offer price. Gitanjali Gems which listed in the stock markets on Friday (March 10, 2006) closed the day with a discount of more than 14%. The stock closed at Rs.167.6 in BSE against the offer price of Rs.195.
