Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd repays US$ 15 million FCCB held by IFC, Washington

In respect of the Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) aggregating to US$ 15 million issued by Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd to International Finance Corporation (IFC), Washington, the Company has made repayment of an aggregate amount of US$ 17.723 million, including the redemption premium of US$ 2.723 million on the due date (June 16, 2014) in accordance with the terms and conditions of the said FCCBs.

With the aforesaid repayment, entire outstanding FCCBs held by IFC, Washington stands redeemed on maturity.

Shares of BAJAJ HINDUSTHAN LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs.29.5 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 26.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 3475867 in over 11066 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 29.5 and intraday low of 27.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 100695513.
