Eicher Motors, India's third largest truck and bus manufacturer, also manufactures two wheelers under the Royal Enfield brand. We believe the company is in a high-growth phase, driven by the popularity of Royal Enfield motorcycles and the addition of a new business (engine sourcing by Volvo) in the commercial vehicle space, which will help it to tide over the downturn. We initiate coverage of the stock with an ADD rating and sum-of-the-parts based target price of Rs. 5,500.
