Canequity Taxsaver declares 40% dividend

The open ended fund Canequity Taxsaver has declared a tax-free dividend of 40%. The record date for dividend eligibility is March 20, 2006. The scheme has given 61.89% returns in the past 1 year and 56.4% returns in the past 3 years.

The NAV of the scheme was Rs.23.65 on March 3, 2006. The scheme is eligible for tax rebate under Section 80C of income tax act.
