              The GSM operators have added just 1.49mn subscribers in July, taking their total user base to 672.6mn, with Aircel topping the charts. This was a 0.22% increase from the previous month, according to data released by the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI). In comparison, GSM operators had added 3.57mn subscribers in June. Aircel added 7,55,523 users, the highest among the GSM operators, taking its total to 61.7mn. The company ranked fifth among the GSM operators with a 9.18% market share. Bharti Airtel added 476,593 subscribers; with a total of 191.39mn users, it maintained its leadership position with a 28.45% market share. However, Vodafone India lost 610,694 users during the month, taking its total to 154.4mn. MTNL lost 244,505 users during the month. Idea Cellular added 300,099 subscribers on its network, taking the total to 125.3mn users. Uninor added 463,431 users taking its total to 32.8mn, while Videocon added 353,787 users during July.
