Government transfers shares of FACT to meet Minimum Public Shareholding

Government of India, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Department of Fertilizers, has transferred 5,54,00,424 equity shares of face value of Rs. 10/- each of Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT) to the account of Special National Investment Fund to make the Company compliant with the minimum public shareholding norms of 10%.

Shares of Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.17.95, down by Rs.0.35 or 1.91%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.18 and low of Rs.17.70.

The total traded quantity was 2212 compared to 2 week average of 7556.
