HCL Technologies at FileNet / IBM Enterprise Content Management User Conference 2007

HCL Technologies Ltd has announced that on May 22, 2007 the Company has confirmed its presence at this year's FileNet event, FileNet / IBM Enterprise Content Management User Conference 2007.

As well showcasing the Company's FileNet offerings at Kiosk 40, Avik Chatterjee, Project Manager and Lead Architect for the Company's FileNet Practice, will host a speaker session on May 24. Avik’s presentation will focus on 'Transforming Unsecured Lending Originations using FileNet business Process Management (BPM) based solution framework’.

The Company will showcase its Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) based FileNet solutions that has delivered many fold benefits to a host of different customers using FileNet. BPM using SOA makes processes agile and accessible across various platforms. SOA integration also minimises the effects of change on the environment, resulting in faster process implementation and lower operational cost.

These include BPR consulting, workflow implementation, web content management (e-portal) imaging solutions (Intelligent Character Recognition - ICR / Optical Character Recognition - OCR), back file conversion and date migration / conversion, interface with existing and legacy applications, and maintenance and support of all FileNet applications.

Another the Company offering to be demonstrated during the conference, is the Company’s FileNet Solution Accelerators. These are reusable components and frameworks which help to build ECM applications quickly and effectively, providing application robustness and stability, regardless of industry domain or geographical sector.

In April 2007, the Company was honoured with the IBM FileNet award for ‘Outstanding investment in Enterprise Content Management’. This award was in recognition of the Company’s skill in imparting FileNet trainings to its professionals; the number of the Company’s FileNet certifications, and the implementation of complex systems using FileNet - hence popularising FileNet as a product.

The Company’s FileNet practice has over seventeen years of experience behind it, having completed more than 80 successful project implementations across different domains and geographies. With over 350 FileNet consultants, including more than 100 FileNet Certified Professionals (FCPs), the Company’s FileNet practice offers tailor made, value propositions with rapid solution implementation and maximum ROI.
