Assambrook to issue preference shares to Allahabad Bank

Assambrook Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 31, 2006, has decided to issue 1,47,000 Cumulative Convertible Redeemable 7.5% Preference Shares to Allahabad Bank subject to approval of the shareholders and any other statutory approval / permission as required.
