Welspun-Gujarat Stahl Rohren Ltd has announced the financial results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2007. The Unaudited results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2007 are as follows: The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 415 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 195 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 6443 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 7311 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.
The Audited results for the Year ended March 31, 2007 are as follows: The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 1426 million for the year ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 613 million for the year ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 18317 million for the year ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 26828 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.
The Audited consolidated results for the Year ended March 31, 2007 are as follows: The Group has posted a profit after tax & minority interest of Rs 1425 million for the year ended March 31, 2007. Total Income is Rs 26828 million for the year ended March 31, 2007.
