Galaxy Entertainment equity shareholders to approve Scheme of Amalgamation

Galaxy Entertainment Corporation Ltd has announced that pursuant to the Order made by the Hon'ble High Court of Bombay, a meeting of the Equity Shareholders of the Company will be held on May 28, 2007, for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, approving, with or without modification, the Arrangement embodied in the Scheme of Amalgamation of Galaxy Lifestyle Restaurants Ltd with the Company.

The stock closed the day at Rs.163.85, up by Rs.27.30 or 19.99%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.163.85 and low of Rs.138.10. The total traded quantity was 135100 compared to 2 week average of 78348.
