Spicejet Ltd allots 35,931,453 equity shares to Kalanithi Maran

Spicejet Ltd has on April 18, 2013 allotted 35,931,453 equity shares of Rs. 10 each, to Mr. Kalanithi Maran, Promoter of the Company, pursuant to conversion of 13 million 14% Unsecured Compulsorily Convertible Debentures of the face value of Rs. 100 each, at a conversion price of Rs. 36.18 per equity share, in accordance with the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009.

Shares of Spicejet Ltd last traded in BSE at Rs.30.60, up by Rs.0.90 or 3.03%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.30.85 and low of Rs.29.70.

The total traded quantity was 26.21 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 19.58 lakhs.
