Electrosteel Castings cosiders interim dividend as final dividend

Electrosteel Castings Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 07, 2007, inter alia, has recommended interim dividend @ Rs 12.50 per share (125%) for the year ended March 31, 2007 declared at Board of Directors Meeting of the Company held on March 13, 2007 to be the Final Dividend.

The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 07, 2007 has granted its approval to invest upto Rs 500 crores in Equity of Electrosteel Integrated Ltd, an Associate Company, which would be setting up a 1.3 MT per annum Integrated Steel Plant in the State of Jharkhand, Such equity investment would be in a phased manner over a period of 2.5 years.
