Washington Apples partners with Delhi Daredevils as 'Official Fruit' for IPL 6

With the IPL fever catching up and the need to keep fit with vital nutrition, Washington Apples, one of the leading fruit brands in India has announced its strategic partnership with Delhi Daredevils as 'Official Fruit of Delhi Daredevils' the upcoming IPL season".

Speaking on the tie-up, Mr. Keith Sunderlal, Indian representative of the Washington Apple Commission, remarked "We are very excited to associate with IPL again this year. We are promoting Washington Apples as a healthy, good for you, anytime snack and we share the Daredevils beliefs on health, fitness and nutrition."

India is among the fourth largest markets for the Washington Apple and sales have been growing at over 20% annually during the past five years. North India is largest region, in terms of sales for Washington Apple and Delhi in particular is a key market for us. Our association with the Delhi Daredevils will further raise awareness of Washington Apples latest variety with the end consumers. We are working on several joint retail promotions during the IPL 2013 and with this six new varieties coming in we hope to see a massive increase in sales on account of this partnership." He added.
