Jaiprakash Power Ventures opens QIP issue on February 19, 2013

The Committee of the Directors of Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd has, at its meeting held on February 19, 2013, decided to open the QIP Issue from February 19, 2013. The issue comprises of Equity Shares, of up to Rs. 3,500 crores to QIBs through a qualified institutions placement in terms of Chapter VIII of SEBI ICDR Regulations ("Issue").

The floor price in respect of the Issue, based on the pricing formula under Regulation 85(1) of the SEBI ICDR Regulations, is Rs. 31.93 per Equity share, and the 'relevant date' for this purpose, in terms of Regulation 81(c) of the SEBI ICDR Regulations, is February 19, 2013.

The Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd stock was trading at Rs.30.70, down by Rs.2.15 or 6.54%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.33.10 and low of Rs.30.45.

The total traded quantity was 10.32 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 4.51 lakhs.
